HSCS Online Entrance Test OLET (LEET) 2012 entrance test scheme and syllabus

Entrance test pattern:Common Entrance Tests will be conduct for students of all streams of Engineering/Technology Diploma holders seeking admission to 2nd year (3rd Semester) of B.E/ B.Tech courses under Lateral Entry Scheme. The test will consist of 90 objective type multiple choice of questions. Each question will carry one mark.

Section A - 25 question (25 marks):
Mathematics: 8 Questions
Physics: 8 Questions
Chemistry: 3 Questions
Communication Skill: 3 Questions
General Awareness: 3 Questions

Section B - 25 question (25 marks):
Elements of Electrical Engineering: 9 Questions
Elements of Electronics Engineering: 8 Questions
Elements of Computer Engineering: 8 Questions

Section C - 20 question (20 marks):
Elements of Mechanical Engineering: 8 Questions
Elements of Production Engineering/ Manufacturing Processes : 6 Questions
Elements of Auto Engineering: 6 Questions

Section D - 20 question (20 marks):
Elements of Civil Engineering: 5 Questions
Elements of Textile: 5 Questions
Elements of Chemical/Printing Engineering: 2 Questions
Elements of Ceramic Engineering: 2 Questions
Elements of Food Technology: 2 Questions
Others: 4 Questions
